Teeth whitening

Bleaching or teeth whitening is a procedure wherein teeth are whitened using dental bleaching solutions. bleaching can be done in the clinic by the dentist or at home by the patient wherein a home bleaching kit is provided to the patient. Bleaching can remove mild intrinsic stains and can give a brighter shade to the teeth. Two or more sittings may be required for desired solution. Mild sensitivity may be present after the treatment which reduces over a period of 4-5 days. Desensitizing pastes are prescribed to manage sensitivity. The results may last depending upon the food habits and oral hygiene care by the patient.
